ABSTRACT: 

When you sat down to build your test team, have you ever felt like 
Mr. Phelps? How did he assess what roles, responsibilities and skills 
were needed for each mission? This presentation will discuss the art 
of creating a world class test team that will be the best fit for your 
project. Effective testing requires specialized abilities and aptitudes 
to mitigate business risk. Your test team needs to be carefully 
balanced to provide members with challenges and room to grow 
as they tackle your company’s “Mission Impossible”. Make sure 
that when your test team is ready to leave the nest it will fly like 
an Eagle - not like a Dodo bird. 

BIO: 

Carol Cruise is a Test Director with the EDS Global Testing Capability 
and has worked in IT for 33 years. She provides leadership 
and expertise in test consulting, particularly in the areas of testing 
assessment and strategy, and plays a key role in testing process 
improvement initiatives for clients. Carol has the Certified Software 
Engineer (CSTE) and Competent Toastmaster designation from 
Toastmaster’s International.
